Destiny L. Wagner - Physics/Ed.Tech
Welcome to Physics! I hope this year will be fun and exciting for you as we look at some real-world applications to help you better understand the concepts we will be studying this year.
AS FOR A LITTLE ABOUT ME... I am happily married to a wonderful man named John. (He even picked our wedding date so he would never forget it - 04/04/04)! We met playing darts (go team Mardi Gras!) but don't play in a league anymore. Both of us love to try new restaurants and take road trips (we've made it to 45 of the 50 states). In my spare time, I enjoy working out, learning to cook semi-gourmet dishes, and just about anything that has to do with Harry Potter. John and I adopted a black cat back in 2010 on Halloween; her name is Spooky. I graduated from the University of Dallas in 1997 with a B.S. in physics and again in 2002 with a Masters in Humanities. I needed a break from science and math so for my graduate degree, I majored in literature and minored in political philosophy. I have taught high school physics since 1998 and am excited to be a part of the JPII community, where I teach CP Physics, AP Physics B1, and am on the Ed.Tech Team helping other teachers integrate technology into their curriculum.
